En el día de hoy se realizó la presentación del trabajo “Análisis preliminar de riesgos de incendio” desarrollado para el Instituto del Quemado dependiente del Hospital Córdoba, centro de referencia nacional. Dicha acción fue realizada ante los miembros del Comité de Calidad, coordinado por el Dr. Carlos Romero, con la presencia de Jefa de Servicio a cargo del Instituto de Quemado Dra. Margarita Campos y el Sub Director del Hospital Córdoba Dr. Iver Pistoia.
El trabajo consistió en la elaboración de un análisis pormenorizado de los riesgos de incendio presentes en el edificio a partir de su estructura y dinámica de uso y su adaptación acorde a las nuevas normas internacionales aplicables a los centros de asistencia sanitaria.
Como eje central se trabajó sobre el modelo de la protección in situ que relativiza la evacuación compulsiva de los ocupantes en caso de incendio. Este enfoque prioriza la compartimentación de sectores de incendio y barreras de humo.
Este fue la culminación de una etapa que se inició en el mes de abril del corriente, luego de visitas técnicas e intercambio con personal y autoridades del Instituto, en especial, con la Dra. Margarita Campos y el Dr. Domingo Ríos.
Esta acción constituye un gran avance para la mejora en el servicio, el cuidado de las instalaciones y la protección de la vida de sus ocupantes.
Agradecemos a las autoridades la posibilidad de ser parte de este proyecto que nos permite continuar promoviendo la cultura de la protección.
